Yesterday when I had a brief moment of dysphoria, I received an askbox message for which I’m grateful. I won’t embarrass the sender (unless he wants me to) but I just wanted to share this line as I think it’s an awesome way to compliment someone. More meaningful than telling someone they’re ‘hot’ or ‘sexy’ or whatever:

“you are like neon in a field of taupe”
